Fayetteville police and fire battle in charity softball game Saturday at Segra Stadium

A charity softball game between the Fayetteville Police Department and Fire Department is Saturday at Segra Stadium.

The game will be followed by a Family Movie Night with a showing of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" on the Fayetteville Woodpeckers lawn. 

Tickets can be purchased from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Police Department at 467 Hay St.

Tickets for the game are $5 and free for children under 8 years old. Family Movie Night after the game is free.

Presentations from the Police and Fire Departments and the charities they're representing will take place during the game, along with giveaways. All proceeds go toward the Fayetteville Police Foundation, The Special Olympics and the Highland Chapter of the Red Cross.

The softball game starts at 4 p.m.
