From the editor: If you haven't already done so, take time to vote on Election Day

Election Day is just around the corner. In case you haven’t heard, the North Carolina primary is on Tuesday, March 5.

I am in no way going to tell you who to vote for. But I would like to encourage everyone to vote.

That is if you haven’t already voted. Early voting has become quite popular. When it first started here, I resisted. I simply liked going to the polls on Election Day and casting my vote. Plus, I always feared that I’d learn something new about one of the candidates and change my mind.

That never happened. And now I almost always vote early. Regardless of when you vote, you can count on the StarNews to provide information about candidates and results on election night.
