RALEIGH — As soon as the gates to the Dreamville Festival opened Saturday, so did the debates — not about who was the best rapper or singer, but whether Duke or UNC would win in the NCAA Final Four.

This year, the Dreamville Festival in Dorothea Dix Park streamed the UNC vs. Duke game toward the end of Saturday's performance lineup.

Jean Saint Louis, who was attending the festival from Florida, was wearing a Duke sweatshirt showing who he was rooting for Saturday night.

When it came to watching WizKid's performance or the game, he said would be watching the game.

J'keyah Hull, an East Carolina University graduate, said that despite her alma mater, she was a Tar Heels fan and would be rooting for them against the Blue Devils.

"We're going all the way," she said.

Hull said she still planned to watch some of WizKid's performance before she watched the game.

The game was displayed in a grassy field next to the Rise Stage.

As the game started, one Duke fan cheered, “Hey North Carolina, we’re better than you!”

But UNC took the lead with a three-point shot, sending the team's fans into a frenzy. Duke immediately followed with a two-point shot, giving their fans a reason to get riled up.

The biggest uproar early in the game came from both sides, as there was a brief technical malfunction that paused viewing of the game.
