James is a high school sports reporter originally from Kinston, NC, by way of Raleigh. Before covering high school sports for the Fayetteville Observer, James covered ACC football and basketball, along with HBCU sports for Spectacular Magazine in Durham, until becoming a Feature Correspondent for the Triangle Tribune, the largest voice for the Black community in NC. James is also invested in interviewing music artists and entertainers in the Black community as host of the Moore Muse Podcast.
