NCHSAA state championship game times are set. When do Terry Sanford, Seventy-First tip?

WINSTON-SALEM − NCHSAA Championship Friday is set for the 1A and 3A boys’ and girls' state championships at Lawrence Joel Veteran Memorial Coliseum at Wake Forest University.

Two Fayetteville teams will play for state titles in the 3A bracket. On Tuesday, No. 3 Terry Sanford girls defeated No. 1 South Central 58-50 to claim the 3A East title, while No. 4 Seventy-First ran away 63-44 with the win over No. 2 Westover in the 3A East championship for the boys, marking their second regional title in three years.

BULLDOGS REGIONAL TICKET:Terry Sanford girls beat top-seed South Central, off to NCHSAA 3A state championship game

Tip-off times for Frida’s 1A and 3A state championship games. Saturday’s 2A and 4A finals have yet to be announced.

Terry Sanford will play as the visitors and is set to face the 3A defending champion West Rowan at 3:30 p.m., 20 minutes after the 1A boys winner is crowned between Wilson Prep and Corvian Community.

The Seventy-First boys will face off at 8:30 p.m. against the 3A defending state champion Central Cabarrus, which is on a 64-game win streak dating back to last season.
